¶ ℹ️ What is MITS Level Match?
MITS Level Match is a desktop application developed by MITS - Músicos ITSanchez that allows you to accurately measure and compare the volume of two presets, automatically indicating how many decibels (dB) need to be increased or reduced so that both have exactly the same output level.
It is intended for guitarists and musicians who use multi-effects pedalboards, digital modelers, amplifier simulators or any audio processing device.
Forget about adjusting the volume "by ear." With MITS Level Match you can prepare your presets for playing live, recording or rehearsing with the peace of mind that they will all maintain a uniform level.

¶ 🚀 How does it work?
- Connect your pedalboard, modeler, or processor to your computer.
- If your computer has a built-in USB audio interface, simply connect it using a USB cable.
- If it does not have an integrated interface, connect it through a compatible audio interface.
- Select the audio device from MITS Level Match.
- Choose Mono or Stereo mode.
- I measured Preset 01.
- I measured Preset 02.
- Press Compare Presets.
- The application will automatically indicate how many dB you should raise or lower to equalize both sounds.
The measurement uses only the time where an audio signal exists. Silences are not part of the calculation, achieving much more consistent results.

¶ Does the app modify my presets?
No.
MITS Level Match only analyzes the received audio level and calculates the difference between two presets to help you match them accurately.
¶ Do I need an audio interface?
Not necessarily.
MITS Level Match works with any audio device recognized by Windows or macOS.
Many modern pedalboards and modelers incorporate an integrated USB audio interface, so by simply connecting them via a USB cable to the computer they can be used directly with the application, without the need to purchase additional hardware.
It is also compatible with:
- USB audio interfaces.
- Pedalboards with integrated audio interface.
- Digital modelers with USB Audio.
- Guitar processors.
- Amplifier simulators.
- Virtual audio devices compatible with the operating system.
The only thing required is for the device to appear as an available audio input in Windows or macOS.
¶ Does it work with any pedalboard?
Yes.
As long as the pedalboard or modeler can send audio to the operating system, either via USB or a compatible audio interface, MITS Level Match can use that signal to make measurements.
¶ Do I need an Internet connection?
No.
The application works completely locally. Internet connection is only required to download the app or receive future updates.
¶ What devices can I use?
You can use practically any device that delivers an audio signal compatible with Windows or macOS, for example:
