The Soran Dual Stomp is a compact guitar and bass processor that combines amp modeling, effects, NAM model loading, impulse responses (IR), an expression pedal, practice tools, and USB Audio recording capabilities.
On this page, MITS organizes the technical information about the Dual Stomp in a clear and practical way so musicians can understand what the unit offers and how it can be integrated into a real-world setup.
MITS content in preparation
This page initially gathers and organizes official technical information about the Soran Dual Stomp. Hands-on tests, measurements, real-world examples and MITS integrations will be added once we receive the unit and can verify its behavior on actual hardware.
The Dual Stomp brings together the tools required to build a complete guitar or bass signal chain in a compact format.
In addition to Soran's built-in amp models and effects, the unit can expand its sonic possibilities through imported NAM models and third-party impulse responses.
Its USB connectivity also allows it to work as part of a recording setup, while Bluetooth, editing software and built-in practice functions extend its use beyond a traditional multi-effects processor.
The Dual Stomp allows users to combine Soran's built-in amp models with external models based on Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) technology.
The unit provides dedicated locations for importing external NAM models, allowing musicians to expand the available amplifier collection beyond the factory content.
Coming soon on MITS
We will test NAM loading, level behavior, performance and practical applications using different captures and real-world workflows.
The Dual Stomp includes built-in cabinet simulations and also supports third-party impulse responses.
The unit provides dedicated locations for loading third-party impulse responses.
This makes it possible to combine internal or NAM-based amplifier models with different cabinets, speakers and capture chains.
The Dual Stomp architecture allows users to build a complete processing chain using multiple effect and amp modules.
Available processing blocks include:
WAH/VOL → GATE → OD/FX → AMP → CAB → EQ → MOD → DELAY → REVERB
Additional tools such as Looper and Drum are also available.
The unit supports up to 11 modules operating simultaneously.
The Dual Stomp provides 99 preset locations for storing different configurations.
Presets can store combinations of amplifiers, cabinets, effects and parameters for later use in the studio, during practice or on stage.
The integrated expression pedal can be used to control functions such as volume, wah and other compatible parameters.
This section will be expanded after MITS tests the actual assignment and control possibilities available on the hardware.
The Dual Stomp includes tools designed for both practice and music creation.
The unit includes 100 drum patterns for practice and accompaniment.
The Dual Stomp provides several connections for integrating the unit with amplifiers, monitors, headphones, mobile devices and recording systems.
This section will later be expanded with a MITS connection diagram and real-world routing tests once we have the hardware available.
Important
MITS will verify the actual behavior of the outputs and routing possibilities on the physical unit before publishing specific connection recommendations.
The Dual Stomp can operate as a USB audio interface.
According to Soran's official specifications, it operates at:
48 kHz / 24-bit
with:
USB Audio 2 In / 2 Out
This allows direct integration with a DAW for recording and playback.
Coming soon on MITS
We will test the Dual Stomp as an audio interface and document its integration with our recording environments and workflows.
Soran provides tools for managing and editing the Dual Stomp across different platforms.
The software can be used to work with presets, device parameters and external content such as NAM models and IR files.
This section will later include screenshots and practical examples of the software.
Soran provides dedicated MIDI documentation for the Dual Stomp.
MIDI support makes it possible to integrate the unit with external controllers and other MIDI-compatible devices.
MITS Lab
MIDI will be one of the areas we investigate in depth. We will test different ways of controlling the Dual Stomp and document practical configurations and real-world applications.
The Dual Stomp includes a built-in 2000 mAh / 3.7 V rechargeable battery.
According to the manufacturer's information, it can provide up to approximately 6 hours of operation, depending on usage conditions.

More images and detailed views of the Soran Dual Stomp will be added soon.
This section will grow as we perform our own tests with the Dual Stomp.
Topics we plan to investigate include:
TEST → MEASURE → UNDERSTAND → TEACH
Our goal is not only to show what the unit can do, but to understand how its features work and document workflows that other musicians can reproduce and adapt.
