In 1985, he was called to join V8 with guitarist Walter Giardino. After the latter left, he remained the only guitarist in the group and recorded the band's third and last album. After the separation of V8, towards the end of the 80s, Roldán formed Logos, a band that officially debuted in October 1991. Subsequently, he released his first album, La Industria del Poder, an album that won all the surveys of the specialized media of the time. In 1995 he recorded Generación Mutante under the artistic production of Rudy Sarzo (former Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne and Whitesnake) and, in mid-1996, he was invited to participate as a bassist in the reunion of the former members of V8 at the Metal Rock Festival (Estadio Obras Sanitarias), a show registered under the name Homenaje. In 1997 he released Third Act, recorded live at the Promúsica Auditorium of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. In 1998, after a break in his Logos career, he began his personal project Cruel Adicción. At this stage he began to work as an artistic producer, working with bands of various styles, in addition to recording and producing the album Resurgir with his own band. In 2004 he returned to Logos and recorded World Plan for Destruction and, later, Through the Ages, both produced by himself. He also edits the DVD of World Plan for Destruction, recorded live at the Obras Stadium. He is currently dedicated to teaching, an activity under which he has published the books Guitar and music: Theory applied to the execution of the instrument (1 and 2) and Scale diagrams. Likewise, he leads the band MR, with which he released La Industria del Poder - 30 Anniversary, recorded live in the city of Buenos Aires through his own label, MRecords.
