Germán Cañete began to be interested in music, and specifically the drums, from a very young age. He began studying in conservatories and with private teachers at the early age of thirteen, although he always continued to expand his knowledge completely self-taught. Although heavy metal is the genre he enjoys the most and where he took his first steps, he has always stood out for being a versatile drummer who can dominate different genres.
He is currently dedicated to teaching drums (an activity he has been doing for more than ten years). He also works as a session musician, covering different varieties of styles such as rock, pop, ballads, fusion, metal, and many others. He has recorded for many artists: “Bardo Thodol” - Bardo Thodol (2018), “Ciclos” - Max Di Franco (2019), “En vivo” - Marcos Salazar (2022), “Sin final” - Rayd (2023), etc. accumulating around one hundred and thirty songs in which he participated. He is currently part of MR banda since 2014.
